π Quick Start - Airport to City
- Cost: Just $3.00!
- Time: 38-40 minutes to downtown
- Frequency: Every 8-15 minutes
- Hours: 5 AM - 1 AM (Mon-Sat), 6 AM - Midnight (Sun)
Step-by-Step from Sea-Tac Airport
- Follow signs for "Link Light Rail" after baggage claim
- Take elevator/escalator to 4th floor of parking garage
- Walk across skybridge to station
- Buy ORCA card from vending machine ($3 for card)
- Add fare value (minimum $3 for downtown trip)
- Tap card on yellow reader to enter platform
- Board train heading "Northgate" or "Angle Lake"
- Ride to your stop (Westlake for downtown)
- Tap card again when exiting

1 Line: Runs from Lynnwood (north) to Federal Way (south, opened Dec 2025).
2 Line: The Crosslake Connection opened March 28, 2026 and is operating now. Ride direct from Downtown Redmond β Bellevue β Mercer Island β Judkins Park β International District/Chinatown across the I-90 floating bridge. Eastside fans heading to Seattle Stadium should exit at ID/Chinatown for the north gates.

- Arrive 2 hours early - stations get VERY crowded

Best Routes to Seattle Stadium (Lumen Field)
From Downtown Hotels:
- Walk (20-25 minutes) - Follow 4th Avenue south
- Light Rail - Any southbound train to Stadium Station (or ID/Chinatown for the north gates)
- Stadium parking (North Lot, South Garage) is CLOSED to the general public for World Cup matches
From Airport Hotels:
- Link Light Rail northbound to Stadium Station (30 min)
- Direct, no transfers needed
From the Eastside (Bellevue/Redmond):
- 2 Line Light Rail β International District/Chinatown Station, then walk south ~8 min to north gates
- Link runs every 8 minutes on both 1 Line and 2 Line from 6 AM until 1 AM (extended from the normal midnight cutoff) β combined ~4-minute headways through downtown
- FREE SEA26 Match Day Shuttle along 3rd Ave between Seattle Center and Seattle Stadium β starts 3 hours before kickoff (every 3 min in the final hour) and runs 3 hours after the final whistle
- FREE Waterfront Shuttle (May 21 β Sept 7) connects Seattle Center, Pike Place, Pioneer Square, Seattle Stadium, Chinatown-ID, and Colman Dock
- Special Sounder game trains run for all six Seattle matches from Lakewood/Tacoma (S Line) and Everett (N Line) direct to King Street Station (1 block north of the stadium)
- Bikes BANNED from Link and Sounder on match days
- Pioneer Square and Stadium District are pedestrian-only ~4 hours pre-kickoff to ~2-3 hours post-match
- Lime e-bikes/scooters throttled to 8 mph around Pioneer Square / Stadium District

- Best stations for 8 PM kickoff: Pioneer Square (from the north β closest to the north entrances), Stadium (from the south), International District/Chinatown (from the east, including the 2 Line from Bellevue)
- Sounder game trains: N Line from Everett (5:45 PM departure), S Line from Lakewood (5:16 PM) β King Street Station, one block from the stadium. Return trains depart ~11:00 PM PT
- SEA26 Match Day Shuttle: free 3rd Ave loop between Seattle Center and Seattle Stadium, every 3 min in the final hour
- Pioneer Square pedestrian-only zone activates at 4:00 PM (4 hours pre-kickoff); on-street parking restrictions start 2:00 AM that morning β do not leave a car parked overnight on closure streets
- No bikes or scooters on Link or Sounder on match days; Lime e-bikes/scooters throttled to 8 mph around Pioneer Square / Stadium District
- Rideshare: drop-off along 4th Ave South; 1st Ave S and Occidental Ave closed near the stadium. Surge pricing 3β5Γ normal β Link is faster after the match
